Couple Issues and Needing Help
Just installed a sr20ve into the B14...

Started it, everything was fine.

Problem 1:
Idle was at 1400RPM, we bumped timing down (b15 dizzy) and we got it down to 1100RPM. When we turn a/c on, bumps back up to 1400RPM.

Problem 2:
Drove it around, after a couple of minutes, cars RPM started to go down and no throttle response. Car proceeds to shut off. Found out that the Fuse for the Fuel Pump shorted out. Replaced it, car did it again in less then 7 seconds. Replaced it with 25 (stock 15 Fuse) and car ran fine (After we moved the battery thinking the battery might have been touching the intake). But I don't think the battery was an issue.

Suggestions?

Put the timing back to where it should be and fix the real idle problem.

Heres my initial thoughts.
problem 1....Throttle cable too tight? Is the TB closing all the way?
Start fresh by stting the base idle and timing,(tps disconnected, timing mode)and then go from there. On my VE ,I have to turn the idle screw all the way in to get the base idle below 1000.It now idles at around 850 rpm.

Problem 2....Maybe your fuel pump needs to be replaced, thats why it is popping the fuse. You should never put a larger fuse in,but if it blew the 25 too,you have a short to ground,or the pump is just pulling too much current, because it is beginning to fail.

Ok, for the Fuel Pump issue, it seems that the battery was the problem. Everything is running fine now.

And for idle, I'll be working on that tomorrow.

I agree with eggman - dont forget to put that fuse back down to 15, or you're asking for problems.

Fuel pump problem is done.

Idle is still an issue. At lights the idle will go up and down like it had bad valves but would only do it once before coming to a complete stop or just going into neutral...

I'm thinking a dirty sensor but I'm not sure.

Coolant Temp Sender will cause that.
Have you checked codes?
