That's some serious misinformation there greg. On a day where the track was bloody slippery, a fairly-well stripped P10 DE managed to go 0.03sec faster than a P11 VE down the quarter. Both were over 15sec, and the P11 trapped some 8km/h faster than the P10.
If you want a fairer weight comparison for the P10 DE, look at the N15 VZR with an SR20VE that had shortened secondaries, SR16VE cams and a tune. It did a 14.7 and was still 6k's up on the P10, despite it being the driver's first trip to the 1/4.
I don't know where you got the 14.8s stock de from, but it certainly wasn't from the NZPCC drag day.
