Help wiring tps??
I had to lengthen my tps wires form my original harness(stock DE) for my VE swap, but am not sure I did the wiring right. Anybody have any step by step instructions? Does the shielding on the one wire belong wrapped up with the wire inside it? Because I was told that that shielding cant touch the wire inside? Is this true? Somebody help me please!

I cant seem to get this idle right. Between the tps, iacv, and cold idle air valve the idle wont stay normal. It is either to high, to low and stumble then dies, or it surges. I am almost positive it isn't a vacuum leak. Anybody have any ideas?

You are correct, the shielding wire cannot touch the signal wire. This would cause a short to ground. Do you have DataScan or similar software? You can hook it up and test the TPS voltage with the key on/engine off, look for ~.5 volts with the throttle closed and smooth voltage movement through the sweep.

Well I am going to go over that and redo my tps wires. This is where I lack in skills Jonathon. When it comes to wiring I always mess up. Thats why I really hope you make it over this Sunday because i guarantee you'll find some things I messed up. I can handle the grunt work, but really suck at the finishing touches:o

And my tuner is ........well MIA. Hopefully I find him soon
