Did you receive the secondary?

yeah I did, didnt think it was worth a picture, since its just some pipe with a flex.
Can take one if you really want

Its the size of the pipe that matters!

Good luck with the header Lonewolf.

How did you come to decide on the header demensions?

To me, it seems like a shorter version of the HS gen 6. From testing, we found the early/short 3" collector hurts the bottom to midrange.

Whatever the length may be, that header enabled his car to hit 270whp at the convention.

Kiwi-Japie had these made, based on dimensions from the 20v header I believe.
I'm just doing the testing on a VE for him.

Some results from my side to anyone who is interested.
All figures are in crank.

Engine is genuine SR16VE.N1 untouched inside.

Green line is an old run with everything on
Blue line is the difference by adding WAI and no extra tuning (it had a pod filter but with the stock rubber hose)
Red line is the result with no exhaust and no extra tuning (just N1 header and custom made secondary)

This is my N1 header

A comparison photo with standard VE header

My custom secondary 1.969" (50mm) to 2.36" (60mm)

I replaced N1 header with ssac 2.5" and made the rest of my exhaust 2.75" (70mm)

Red line is N1 header and 2.36" (60mm) exhaust
Blue line is ssac header/no secondary modification and 2.75" (70mm) exhaust.
No tuning involved.
We tried to tune afterwords but there was not any gain.

Do you still believe in large exhaust dimensions?

Excellent post! What kind of intake did you start our with (CAI? pipe diameter?)

Thanks.
