Thread: My VE doent want to start!!!wtf???

ok got everything hooked up, this time with a 5sp harness(tried an auto and the cluster plugs dont match) went to crank it and nothing, fuel pump isnt priming and starter isnt cranking, now i have a 4dr GA and there's 2 plugs on the SR harness that dont match with the car harness below the battery tray. the car only has 2 plugs and only one is hooked up. the SR harness has 3. what i'm i missing???

edit: im using an auto ecu from a g20 if that matters. do i need to do that bypass thing to start it?

the GA has 2 plugs and the SR has 3 plugs.

2 of the 3 SR plugs will plug in to the GA.

She's alive!!! only 1 plug matched for some reason,but a quick look at the ga harness i realized all i needed to do was splice that plug which goes to the starter and voila! she cranked up the second crank after priming the oil pump/ engine with the coil disconnected.

off to the muffler shop and waiting for my ecu from Calum.
btw should i connect the solenoids to the msd 8969? or leave like it is now until i get the ecu?
