200sx vvl having problems please help
Hello guys i hope you gus can help me lately after i let my dad borrow my car for a few weeks my car has been acting weird, he told me this had happen to him where the car was running and then it would suddenly die when it was running, i thought the car didnt get warmed up right so today i took it to work and i was driving at 45 mph when the car suddenly die and i had to pulled to the side.

After the car stopped i tried turning it on and it wouldnt want to start it would crank and everything but just didnt want to stay on after a few tries if finally turned on and worked good, then suddenly this idea came to my mind, what if my dad put cheaper gas could that be the reason? well i called him and he told me he put 89 gas when i always put 91, could that be the problem or could it be something else. Also i went back to work and when i got out and headed home it worked good on the freeway but when i exited on my street a few miles ahead my car died again while driving and this time it didnt want to turn on, there was crank but the car wouldnt turn on as if it wasnt getting any gas so i was stuck on the middle of the street trying to turn it on but it would would, after 7 minutes it finally turned on and i just parked it at home, do you guy know what could be wrong, all help will be appreciated. Could it also be my fuel pump.

I'd start with the ecu. Check the codes on it and go from there. Might be a weak ignition signal problem that's starting to get very bad.

well i installed a new walbro fuel pump and it did the same thing, it would turn on and stay on for a little while and then after a couple of minutes it would die, after a couple of tries it did the same thing but on the last try it stayed on and i drove it on the freeway and it stayed on all the time so at this point im confused, i dont know if it will act the same way, later on. Injector are good i need to check my maf as i just replaced it about 3 months ago.
