sr16ve cam gains?
What power gains should I expect form a set of sr16ve cams in a fully bolted up VE. Also where will the power be most noticeable w/o cam gears?

Now is it worth it to get cam gears with these or should I just run them straight up?

My under the hood mods are a BPI intake(on 3" piping), sacc header with 2.5" dp, and a 3" VRS exhaust.

thanks

dyno's would be MUCH appreciated

if you search around i think my graph should be on here. i had pretty much same mods as you and i dynoed with stock cams vs sr16 cams and i believe it made around 10whp. deff worth it. much better curve too. it held really well to 8k.

Difference from 186 to 197whp for me. Well worth it for the price, although I'd really like some n1's now.

That sounds perfect for me, especially since I only paid 200 for them

I have 3 questions: did you use stock cam gears? and if not what settings did you use? Next did you stay at 8K or did you go above that? And if you did go above that how high did you rev to w/o any issues? And finally what points did you activate the cams at?

thanks sooooo much guys for the input! I just wanna make sure I made a decent purchase, which it looks like I did. I really don't think I am ready for N1's just yet.....

That graph looks awesome I am assuming the line under it was w/o the cams right? And your rev limit it looks like was 8k, which seems to be enough with the regular 16ve's.

I see now our using the n1's and custom intake manifold right? That must be pretty insane reving to 9k and still pulling

Next summer I step up to springs/retainers and the N1's or something better if its out......

thanks again.......I just serched your name and found your N1 dyno and like I said I am really jealous! Can't wait to rev to 9K, but first things first.
