some intake q's
So I'm back on the stock IM for a while and was surprised to learn I've forgotton where certain tubes go.

For the IACV tube coming from the valve on the IM. I asume it connects to the intake pipe in front of the TB correct?

Then on the rear side of the IM, just behind the TB there is a small vacuum nipple. Where does it go???

1. Yes

2. It goes to the bottom pipe on the top of the charcoal canister. If you dont have one just block it off.

Thanks Miko.

Think I should get the car tuned again. Refuses to idle with 2. blocked off.

I should probably get a haf decent WAI on there too if I'm going to give the stock IM a fair shake on the dyno compared to the ITB's

What I can tell for sure is even now (without tuning) after the switch back there are gobs more low end power and drivability is fantastic.

(Anyone know how the stock IM flows versus a N1 IM?. IIRC dyno results showed no gain over the stocker with a N1 IM, but I guess that's a stock engine)

yea please get it tuned with a wai, so you can have a nice comparison. that would be really informative to see.
