The hose that goes under the IAC is the only one I got connected to the intake, the one on the valve cover has been like that for the past 3.5 years


i have 3 hoses on my intake pipe, one to the vc, one to the iac below the TB and the one im going to plug off, i dont know why the ve tb has the connection for the hose if it does use a charcoal canister.. but im going to plug it since thats what most people are doing..

so basicly mine Will be the same as in your pic, except i will have the hose connecte to the vc like it should be.

leaving the one on the vc open, it can draw in moisture.. thats bad.. it will do damage over time.. just ask my truck..

I had the exact same problem which was fixed once I adjusted the little screw/nut on the actual tb itself. Unplugging tps wouldn't do anything either.

so i got some little rubber cap off things an capped that thing in the intake pipe off an the thing by or on the TB and now she idles perfect.. thanks guys
