Have you tried adjusting the idle up screw on the VE throttle body? It will keep the engine revved up if its improperly adjusted.

ooooo dude i totaly didnt think of that... that will be first on the list today..

heres a pic of a intake pipe..

that tiny little pipe comming out is where that little hose that goes to the tb is connected to

theres 3 hoses that need to be hooked to the intake pipe, one goes to the vc one runs under the intake mani back by the firewall and the other is the tiny one

the tiny one is for the charcoal canister. It isn't even hooked up on my VE. The large one going under the TB is for your IAC. If it isn't hooked up to the intake, the car won't idle at all.

ok i think im gonna block off the small hose since it doesnt really seem to be needed, an it may help my idle issue.. as for the 2 bigger hoses they're hooked up for sure, an now that u say that i do recall that lower one does go to the iac

yeah the small hose goes from the intake to the charcoal can then from the large nipple on the can to the intake manifold. i dont think stock ve cars have the can.

I think you don't have a connection to the IAC from the intake

The hose that goes under the IAC is the only one I got connected to the intake, the one on the valve cover has been like that for the past 3.5 years
