Thread: new SR20VE with a 6 speed

Hey guys waz up im new here i want to know if the mounts fit on this engine right up like a sr20de and trans mount too? also if the cv joints fit in to the trans?

Nope on the CV axles. Everything else will bolt right up for FWD.

is this a turbo engine because it looks diff. from the sr20ve

This is an sr20VE 20V version. It has 204ps instead of 187 like the older version. Head flows better, bigger cams, better exhaust manifold etc. It has the diff valve cover and that is about it. It just looks a bit different is all.

Don't know how you got your hands on that, but that is the freshest engine I ever seen come in on a crate.

how come the vvl dont use an oil catch can?

the rear engine mount and the gearbox to chassi mount are different. i have that gearbox in my car. few other things had to be changed as well but the original owner did most of it.

I think it is because they have extra baffling inside the valve cover.

I don't like that seller, isn't he the same guy that said he had a N1 TB when he didn't and Dre pointed it out and got all sour?
