I have seen a few in Miami but those are not SR20VETs.

They are QR25s

Wait a sec, it is a real Xtrail VET motor? Did you change the rockers on the exhaust to the ones for lift? Pretty sure you did. If not, then running the stock SR20VE cams would be pointless because you would be left with 8.8mm or so of lift and crap for duration.

So I have to assume the third member is there. When you swap the cam it will be really good to see. I did some testing with my Datascan and found the switching the exhuast cam showed a drop in MAF voltage, indicating it was in fact losing power.

Yes, Kieran has a X-Trail VET engine & he has changed the exhaust rockers. The engine resides in a 4x4 P11 T4... I've seen some doubters in his build thread but this engine & this car are definitely for real. The engine was in our garage for over a year before it went in his car.

Funny thing is we have a proper VET in our club but right now we don't have a single VE+T... a couple are getting built though.

What do you expect to see once its running right?

Im gunna put out my guess at around 215-220kw on that dyno once its setup right probably more.

You should listen to miko and just dont switch the exhaust cam.

That would be a fair expectation with this turbo... however the turbo is the big choke of the system at the moment, so an upgrade is definitely on the cards.

With regards to the exhaust cam switching, at this stage I'd rather just put the VE cams back in, instead of swapping the rockers out again (as there's only one solenoid). It also means that I can get Kelford / Franklins to measure up the VET cams in preparation for a custom grind.
