Ecu question need some help
i got a sr16ve with a sr20ve ecu ... it runs but when in vvl doesnt run to full potential ... my brother has a 94 gt20 and i wanna see if his sr20de ecu will work if i switch it to my car , i believe i have a stock b14 ecu connector ... so if u just swap it over with the maf from the de ... would if run or burn the ecu .... i need some help to see if it would work ...

Get in touch with Calum. He can program a ECU for you and your ECU problems will be solved. I think they run a little over $100

DE ecu doesn't have vvl points? Do you think it will help you?

Swap over the DE maf and DE injectors and your car should run ok. Do you have a real vzr or something anyway?

the main problem as I see it is your rev limit. what would the DE ecu put your rev limit at? Is this an auto or manual? The shift point of the tranny if its auto will also screw the performance by preventing u from reaching the required revs.

the sr16 revs to 7800 or 8000 or so
to get the max power out of the engine u need to be able to rev to at or above the torque peak of the engine.

without the electronic speed signal input (pin 32) and the 20ve ecu wired to think it is in drive (pin 35 to ground) the engine will run poorly anyway notwithstanding the low rev limit.
