the one closest to the engine is the intake, the one closest to the distributor is the exhaust

Switch over point will be diffrent for every car depending on exhaust size, header and intake manifiold length.

really? so you are saying the standard ecu does not control them through an inbuilt rpm switch? i do not see how header and so forth affects the switching points unless maybe its done through load or load &rpm?

i think andreas was addressing to BlueRB240 who stated 4700 would be a good point without klnowing the setup of the engine..

not the factory cam settings

Header will play a huge factor in cam switching. I can tell you that I've seen on a dyno a 20whp loss using the same switching point and the only change being the header.

Thats the standard actviation point on the N1's though. First time a drove an N1 i was waiting and waiting and waiting then finally it hit.

for a stock n1 your switch off point gives off better top end

mikos set up is highly advanced when in comparison.

so yea stick with your switch point unless you dyno a difference in hp @ another rpm...
