So did he gain any power? Thanks for the heads up.

We didn't get a chance to really tune it. I just took a stab at it to see if it would lose hp and it didn't lose any hp.

My current map is

I have n1 cams, and a budget header.

Throw a lot more timing in the low load low rpm area's the car will feel much more peppy.

Depends on the car. Every VE I have tuned likes WAY more than 28.

What about the OBX header

for the OBX you would need more timing like in those maps. 32deg-33deg up top.

I'm currently using this one. I have N1 cams 0,0 and Charles 4-1 header bought from GregV.

I have this other timing map I was about to try using but I think the timing is too high on both tunes for the top end for my header I have on.

Maybe the 4-1 is overkill for my setup as it is right now. But I think it is still better than the stock headers I had on. My friend suggested changing the dizzy to 11degree's and see how it does and when I did this it was sluggish around 2k-3k then would start pulling good after 3k. It pulled significantly harder than when I had it at 15 degrees on the dizzy. using 91 pump gas for california.

Thanks for the tips guys, much appreciated. I guess I will try using those timing figures that beefy vvl has for the lower loads, and see how that turns out.

Gotta thank Nathan aka wnwright for both tunes. He's the one that provided me with both of them.

Good luck Dudeman. I still got to play with mine. Need to datalog to see whats going on with mine instead of guessing .
