There is

VE coolant pipe
20V coolant pipe
VET coolant pipe

The 20V and VE coolant pipes are interchangable. The only diffrence is the 20V does not have the coolont fittings to feed coolant to the TB because it uses drive by wire.

The VET is similar to a 20V but it has one niple xtra for the oil heat exchanger.

So VE and 20V are completly interchangable if you are not going to run water lines to the TB or you can just block them off or weld them shut.

The 20V and VE will not fit on the VET if you plan on running the oil heat exhanger. If you get rid of it you can run whatever you want.

I got VE, 20V and VET so thats how I know

Nope.

Why do you need one of those? What happened to the one on your motor?

These things dont go bad

I can tell you this the heat exchanger is not that important so you can get a

VE on but you will have to put on a DE oil filter housing and dont forget to block off the hole in the block where it picks up water from but you can get that block off bung from and DE or VE motor.
