Thread: hotshot gen 4 / vvl / porting

ok now i know this isnt going to be as good as the ssac 2.5 header.. this is just a temporary fix possibly..

i have the hotshot gen 4 on the car right now. i ported the primarys as much as i could before i ran out of my cheap burrs.. what i was thinkin is havin a friend of mine machine the primary ports more so they match the vvl head better.. then gettin a 2.5 flex tube and 2.5 pipe to connect to the front side of the cat, i already know the route im going on the cat back so theres no worrys there.. im just tryin to figure out a solution where i dont have to spend much and i can drive the car daily (not romping on it) with out worrying about choking it so much.. this is just until i can get the ssac.. after the ssac an i have some real cash i will be gettin the "budget header"

whats your guys thoughts / opinions

use the gen 4 until you can afford a header from Chuck. i see no reason to throw $$ away on a ssac, when you know you want a snickers special.

yea u think it will be all good? an whats ur thoughts in increasing the secondary an flex tube size??
