(Maybe babying it wasn't the way to go......?)
60kph (about 38mph) first, 100kph (60mph) second, 150 kph (about 94mph) third, fourth o.t.c., fifth who knows all the way I don't have a speed cut defender or rsm.
N1 your looking at around 50kph first (about 32mph), and 90kph second (about 56mph), and so forth better especially when you can rev higher in an N1. My VZR only just revs past redline to about 8300rpm.
You can imagine that if you were to have an N1 which has more power, and can rev to.... I think it was 8900rpm (when I saw it on the video) this short gear ratio box would give more torque and earlier VVL time on top of that. Also with the additional high revving, it would cause you to get just as much speed as a longer gear ratio box but when changing gears the next gear will be way more into the higher power band.
So with these figures just give the thing a squirt and you should be able to tell aswell.
N1 is just better all round! (Sorry about the going on and the numbers. I'm from New Zealand)
Sorry dude, but they DON'T.
Unless it's a NISMO box, they are IDENTICAL between the standard VZR and the N1.
I do agree with you on the ratios being IDEAL for a VVL motor. They ROCK!
Mine revs to 8950, it's where I set my rev limit to, using a Daughter Board; standard they are 8,100 - 8,200-ish.
