The S/R will not really make more peak HP because N1 cams are not starting to float the valves until above 8500rpms. With a great header or one of mine, and the correct intake on it, with the cams setup right and tuned you should see peak WHP close to 8000rpm. The motors that are peaking at 7000-7200rpm are not tuned correctly, or they do not have a good header. The SSAC really limits the potential of the N1 cams, especially above 7000rpm.

You are so full of sh!t Charles you know that xtra 2 hp is impossible.

I am going to start talking to Mrslappy as he is more realistic with HP figures.

yep, mine peaks from 7000-7500, and drops off badly after that.
Restrictive header and exhaust the likely cause.
Bring on my freak header and 3" exhaust!

This graph below is the comparision of 20V Ls - N1 Hs vs FS4 cams on Evlnxrs car.

Now when looking at the graph if the cam was switched at 6500 RPMs or so you will have a first hand look at what the 20V Ls - N1 Hs will do. So dont let the dip full you. That was there from a to early switch over point.

You can see on this car the N1s are peaking at about 8300 RPMs or so.

How cam you truely beat 2 proven cams being put together.

sure he is more realistic, but who cares about that. Mrslappy dont dream of 1,000,000 HP sr20 motors. If you start talking to him instead then who are you going to be able to poke with a stick? charlie brown would be sad

I agree Andreas. That is really gay. I dont get it. Are you sure he has much camshaft technical knowledge?

The N1 cams with the better small lobes should make more top end power, 4-5whp atleast because you will be setting them on centerlines for 6500rpm+ powerband.

Sorry Mr Snickers, I dont dream of 1,000,000 hp SR20 motors, I build them

From another point of view someone could see that 20v Ls - FS4 Hs destroys 20v Ls - N1 Hs
Also this cam combo is already released by Franklin.
