UG!

** Anyone who gets a header with NO ASP badge on it PM me and I will pay for shipping to and from and weld the badge on. OR i can send you a badge and you can have someone weld it on.

I want every header to have a badge on it so I know its my header and so everyone else knows it is.

Its cuz the ones without the ASP badge are the ones I'm building trying to

Oh sweet Jesus this header is amazing!

On that note, I will be needing a longer resonator. It turned my mildly loud 3inch into a roaring terror when the cams switch. I am not even joking, it sounds open header now.

The mid range is beautifully handy, the car feels so much stouter at any rpm at any gear.

The top end is just insane. I need to play around with my cam points, I have no idea what this header will prefer.

Worth EVERY penny.

Oh, hopefully grab a video tomorrow, this rain is killing it though.

Fitment seemed perfect, I was able to get the header in without removing anything, but for the alternator wire (you will understand once you try). I also bent the tab on the crossmember that holds the plastic under-trey, and that is all I needed to get it in, just be patient and persistent.

I am getting some vibration, it could be because it is so cozy against the crossmember, I will have a look tomorrow. My guess is because every crossmember can be at a slightly different orientation, and the tolerance is very tight, this puppy wraps the motor. Nothing a file cannot fix in a jiff.

Gents, put em on and enjoy.

I helped dudeman mess with the tuning today after installing the header...

That header makes a would of difference. It's my opinion that aside from the DE>VE swap, the header has made the biggest power improvement.

This thing sounds like a bat straight out of hell when the high cams switch. God damn!

Dudeman-

Which header were you running before the ASP?

Is there a change in noise level on the low cams?

Thanks.

Goddamn it dudeman, you're killing me! I'm at work 600 miles away from home, and you have me debating on driving home and back just to throw the header on Oh well, I guess I will just have to wait another couple of weeks...

Dudeman can chime in on the sound level from the co*kpit. From the outside it is louder all over. When cruising it doesn't sound much louder. WOT on low cams is louder, but maybe only 10%. WOT on high cams is... insane. Maybe 30% louder. It's also the tone that makes it sound so loud. Very deep and angry with a "i'm tearing the drivers balls off as we speak" shriek to it.

He was running a 2.5" dp SSAC previously.

Imo it's a whole new car. This header is nutso.

I lost the chance to get one by minutes. Looks like there is only one thing to do now.
