Anyone ever had extremely high cold idle ?
My car will idle around 2500RPMS in the morning until the temps reach 110* - 120* F. Anyone had this happen to them?

Thats normal. If its in the singal digits outside when I start my car. It might idle at even 3k depending on how cold it is. 2500 isnt "extremely" high.

Yes. Adjust the cold idle near the throttle body since your not running the VE ecu and harness. A small allen wrench and you can turn it down while the car is cold to normal cold idle rpm.

Yes it would work. I have a DE throttle body on mine that still allows for cruise control.

WELL THERE YOU.. GO.. itll also help out drastically in gettin the temp up a bit faster. again i would only do this in states that it gets below 30 or any state that your driving your poor car threw snow.

Right on thanks everyone. I tried adjusting my cold idle screw deal but it didn't seem to be helping so I'll check out the sr20 forum write-up
