Thread: sr20ve distrubutor diagram

hey guys. just trying to figure out how to wire up a ve distrbutor in my b14

Search a little. There are diagrams on the forum mapping the 8pin to the 6+2 pin dizzy.

But basically if you hold the dizzy with it's plug/clip and rotor cap facing straight up, and then numbering the pins 1-4 in the first row, and 5-8 in the second row, then the pins are:

1 - gnd
2 - 12v+
3 - 1 degree / 360 degree camshaft position sensor
4 - 180 degree camshaft position sensor

5 - dizzy resistor - pin no 3 on the ECU
6 - 12v+
7 - gnd
8 - coil trigger - pin no 1 on the ECU
