dynoed again today, opinions welcome...
had a group dyno day today had the VE on there since getting some mapping done..as you can see an improvement from the the first dyno I had, where the fueling was all over the place...

two graphs below are from when the car was dynoed with a SR16VE ecu, no mapping of any sort...

below are todays results, after some mapping was done, and Fuji header added, (though this was added after the mapping)

figures shown are at the crank...

SR20VE with factory ECU remapped (by someone who mainly does turbo mapping twas his first NA mota let alone a VE)

standard cams
Fuji Header
CAI
cam switching - Int - 4700, Exh - 4900
still have the DE catback on there though...2.25" down to 2" (from reading about catbacks on here, I imagine this is a big restriction)

what ya think of the fueling etc...any tips advice welcome

Pig rich from 4K up, try it between 12.8:1 and 13.4:1 at the top end, only a turbo motor needs that much extra fuel. The maximum power will be between those limits somewhere.
The 14:1 at 3k3 doesnt matter so much as it is below peak torque and the heatflux is much lower down there, but if you can tweak it locally, try and raise it a bit, you might be able to add more timing then?

yeah funny you mention the map looks like a Turbo one....as the guy doing it is a lot more experienced with turboed cars then with NA... this will give him a good base to work from, and hopefully I can get some good pointers from here to take to him...

Mapped by Jez? He done my high C/R DE and it's got loads more in it....it's a very cautious map. And he wouldn't raise the rev limit, even though I have C2's.

Im taking it somewhere else next week...to try and get some better results.

yup mapped by Jez....he didn't have any bother raising the rev limit for me, to 7700 from the standard for the DE...

we did talk afterwards and next time I go to him, will look to do this on a dyno, said it would be better for him then doing it on the road....

problem with taking it to someone else is, not sure they would be able to remap the daughterboard etc that he fitted....

That looks like a good job done mapping it out. The power is smooth all the way up. Could lean it out a lil more to 12.8-13.1 might get you a few more horses.

to have that much hp with stock cat back fu-kin amazes me.

I second this man's advice.

High numbers with this setup! You can get extra power from bigger exhaust and cams. But you need to tune AFR at first.
