Thread: SAFC 2 settings on DE ECU?

Why do you want someone's settings?They could blow your motor up. Get a wideband and you'll know what your car needs.

If you read my post, I already have a wideband, I just want to get a good baseline to start from. Whatever setting someone gives me, I will add some extra fuel all throughout just to be safe. Also, I have SAFC2, so I can monitor the knock counts as well.

The way to get a good baseline is to go out and see where your currently at. Have another person with you to watch the afr's and then they can adjust accordingly while you drive. It's not that difficult and you could have already tuned your car a long time ago. I've done it on cars that have way more modifications than yours and it took only an hour at max( and that was with a turbo).

I am in a process of swapping the engine, or else, yes, this may have already been done; however, if someone already has a good conservative tune, why not?It would save me some time and be safer, as I do not have to do that much pulls on the highway or save money as I do not have to do much dyno session. If I go out an see where I am currently at, that would not be a good baseline, as I would probably be way too rich low to midrange and maybe too lean after the arms are activated for the bigger lobe.

I have tuned SAFC NEO on my previous B14, that had a JWT ECU, gt2871r .86a/r, S3 cams, 72lbs injectors, etc. etc., so I do have experience with them.

-5 all the way on the high throttle setting. Blow it up!

on my de i start from -2% slightly angle it lower around 4500-5000 i change it to -9% and from there to redline it's at 11%. remember it's a DE you will need either less of more cuz of the higher need for fuel with the Vtak! but mines stays at 13.9-14.3 which really is the best a/f for n/a

However, I do not understand 100%. You start from -2% from about 1500rpm to 4500rpm and then change it to -9% from 4500-5000rpm and then go straight to 11%? Lastly, what is your VVL activation point?
