hey digitek, did you ever dyno with the kelford cams and how much power did it make? If you don't want to share hp thats cool, i know in the past it has lead to arguements.
but would you mind sharing your engine setup?
I'm interested to know what sort of setup is required to run those cams.

cheers

The last group of people you have to worry about being shady is Kelford, I have a set of their one off VVL cams and they were nothing but a pleasure to deal with.

Apparently they also provide cam blanks for a few companies here in the US.

I have also degreed my kelford cams and they are right on target with what's needed. I have yet to be able to dyno but the low cam makes my car comparable to low 14 sec cars ive 'raced' (e36 anyone)

Of course you have to be as upfront and honest with them as possible with what your realistic motor specs are and your power goals.

YMMV

The Kelford Honda that Nick was talking about makes 320whp NA so I would definitely talk to them about cam options for your drag car. Kevin is the guy to chat with, he's an awesome fella & very helpful.

I take it these are the big mother cams? (255 @ 0.050")
Whats your engine spec if you don't mind me asking?
Once I start building my motor i will go talk to kevin about what cam suits me best, but i'm interested to know what engine spec you guys with the big cams are running.

Kelford springs use stock inside spring...

but they are way stiffer and better than the f-cam design.

and hold more rpm...(self tested to 10k )

That link seems dead? is it anywhere else?
