need input for my ECU setup....
I am currently running a 91' DE ecu w/ SAFC 2 and MSS.

I spent lots of money getting it tuned and I am pleased with my results. (197whp 156wtq)

I feel that my 7.5k redline is too short especially with the big pull at top end.

I was thinking to have my spare b13 ecu sent to Calum and just raise my redline to 7950K (I didnt change my retainers and springs)(stocks should be good to 8K) .

I know that realtime is the ultimate way to go but that I would have to get it retuned and spend more money again. Its a rough economy out here.

Will this be ok? I still want to keep my reliable p10 WITH OVER 290K.

91 p10
sr20ve
n1 cams
cai
2.25 header
2.25 exhaust
N60 Maf

If you don't mind could you give a list of all the mods you've done to this motor. I'm very interested in acquiring the same WHP and TQ numbers you have.

Nice Numbers!! if you can't get the RT, a 2.5" header and a 3" catabck should free up a few ponies. what size is your CAI?

Go with whatever tuning tool you or your tuner is comfortable with. Clearly your getting good results with the s-afc, so I wouldn't touch it.

Just raising the rev limiter is no problem.

As said above, bigger header and exhaust will do real nice. You have some pretty high numbers for how small the header and exhaust is.

Gracias
All the mods are listed on my 1st post. I really love the sound of my trust sp1 w/ remus muffler exhaust (nice n quiet). Hotshot highport 3" CAI is the loud one.

Calum thanks for the reply now ill search for your form just raise the rpms.

But if i raise the revs will I have to retune my car?

I was very impressed with my bros p11 he was running stock maf and stock exhaust and no N1s....

u might not have to re-tune.... if ur talking about under the limit that u have now but for pass that u can dyno first and see, u might just get away with it
