as far as teh pins go, are they numbered top to bottom left to right?

Do you guys have a part number of the cap you used? I bought a RR cap from autozone and it broke off some of the plastic on my rotor as well as the rotor ate away some of the cap. It works and all but it wasnt perfect.

i think your problem spawns from not using an oem quality cap. I checked clearance and rr cap with rr rotor drive is working great so far!

I'n case you haven't figured it out(took me a while to understand what was going on here also)...

All you're changing is the rotor drive so that the distributor accepts the RR rotor.
It's this piece

It's held on by a 5/32 hex head bolt.

From there follow this: http://www.sr20-forum.com/ve/24298-how-wire-ve-distributor-b13-b14-engine-harness.html

When at a parts store just order the distributor cap and rotor for an '02 Infinity G20 and you'll be set.
