You can, but you would need to re-pin the harness accordingly as the '99 Harness is slightly different then the standard OBD2.

No, it's different. I'd have to look up the wiring for a B14 MAF. If you run a '99 P11 ECU, you can use the stock '99 Maf which means no need to re-wire, although the '99 ECU isn't "tuneable", yet. Well, not by most boards available at least.

I was gonna use 99 P11 ecu but it's not tunable, that's why I'll be using 96 b14 ecu so that I can use nistune later on with the b14 ecu. I can still follow this write up using b14 ecu except for wiring the b14 maf right? Thanks again

This write up is meant for the B14 ECU, only difference is the MAF.

Cool! Another question. In your write up "Step 4: Rear O2 Sensor - Wiring for rear O2 Sensor" is this different from "Step 3: re-pinning", right? And the rear oxygen sensor from the 99 p11 that I need comes with the plug too right? It's not the that's from the p11 wirings? Thanks!

I just want to clear things up before I start doing the swap.

The '99 P11 has its rear O2 sensor harness (where you would plug the rear O2 sensor into) on a separate harness coming off the bottom of the car by the catalytic converter. The '00+ P11 has the harness for the rear O2 sensor that comes off the engine harness itself. Since you're replacing the '00+ engine harness with one from a '99 P11, you will not have it coming off the engine harness AND you will not have it coming out of the separate loom from below the car, so you need to manually wire an O2 sensor in, IF you want one. If you're going to be running a wideband, you may not even want a factory O2 sensor. Sorry If that doesn't answer your question, I wasn't really sure what you were saying.

The plug and sensor that you would want to use would be from a '99 P11. Get a rear O2 sensor plug from a '99 and all you have to do essentially is extend it and connect it back into the ECU harness. I guess I can find the wires that you will need to tap into for an easy install. I'll look into it some more, but since I'm not running a rear O2 sensor it hasn't been a huge priority for me.

cool! if there's pictures for this that would be awesome! I mean the write up is already awesome.

Question about the accessories. Will everything work normally like AC, keyless entry including the trunk pop with the remote? thanks!
