I normally leave the carrier on and just remove the axle. with the help of the BGH, it's little to no work really, it's actually more work to take the axle off with the carrier.

Okay. I just wanted to confirm what JWT has written up is correct for my ECU. I really don't feel like frying it.

So is the 98-99 ECU considered a 32bit? or is it still a 16bit with just a diff...

Removed those steps they don't apply. Keep the white wires connected the way they are.
