No doubt about that, but this was done on budget as owner already had used SSAC manifold. User gio94sr20ve dynoed this mod +8whp over stock SSAC I think so its ok in my case.

No, you are mixing two things - exhaust size and collector choke size. Anything over aprox. 2.5" choke will lose big numbers. Size after the choke is different story. ;) I do like 3" exhaust idea, ...
