The ASCD relay is the one that is mounted to the side of the main ASCD box, and the ASCD switch is the on/off switch on the dashboard.

My point was more that the range of adjustment on the KYBs is already pretty narrow.
Photobucket was having an issue. I did this in my red LE as well.

I had them on my Miata. They worked just fine.

From what I've seen, (assuming you're going up from soft) you're probably getting about the equivalent of setting an AGX from 1 to 2.
Meh, those generic "36 way adjustable" dampers from Taiwan that everybody sells have maybe 4-5 positions that make an actual difference in the damping. I've seen dyno plots where the first 20 clic...
Based on my research when building the branch resonator, I believe the straight through mufflers are what is causing the bass-y drone. You could have resonators instead of every inch of straight p...
I tried that. Didn't work.
Side branch resonator worked acceptably well at the speed it was tuned for (65ish mph):

I really like the look of the new WRX, it reminds me of the GC.
I still love my '13. It does a great job as a safe & relaxing transportation appliance.
There's basically 3 tiers of the generic (yes, Megan etc. are generic) china/taiwan dampers.
1 - as delivered (Megan, BC, etc.)
2 - sexed up with hypercos (Stance / AMR etc.)
3 - full rebuilds w...
The way I learned to do it, you apply *gentle* pressure to the gear that you want to select while rev-matching. Once the revs match up, the shifter would "pop" into gear.
Rausing the rear of the hood lets air in. Not out. It does lower underhood air temperatures, but at the cost of higher coolant temperature. Keep in mind that your engine is water cooled.
The scott-russell beam is interesting. Tuning the spring rates on one doesn't seem to follow the same rules as an independent suspension. I can't quite figure out why the wheel rate calculates ou...
Because the vendors selling the various generic "36 way adjustable" coilovers from china don't really understand suspension tuning?
Now I haven't really studied the rear beam cars, but based on ...
