It's more likely if you just swapped the ECU that you knocked a wire loose.

Thus when it's time to build a new race car start with a TSURU - you'll already have that weight loss advantage that you are going after. Add a cage and you will still be under stock USDM weight. :)

It's an anti-theft from the dealer lot. If the original buyer did not pay for it they would just put a permanent chip in it.

Such a 90's thing.
