Seeing all of these constant threads, how are they still in business? Don't get it. They must do a lot of local business in person or something.
The only JGY part I ever had was their clutch dis...
I see. Old Man Emissions once again ruins the party. F the EPA.
This is a pic of the bolts that are the little trouble makers (bottom left & right). The one on the right freely spins, the one on the left spins when you get the 10mm nut loose enough from undern...
Bushing is in! Had to dremel and drill the hell out of the cabin bolts. Then grind down the lip of the new one as Kyle said. Took like an hour. Nice notchier feel in the shifts now
LOL, yep. Without the zipties, since the OEM bushing is ripped, the entire shifter assembly just rests on the cat. It's driveable but a pain in the ass to get into certain gears. Hopefully I get t...
Do have a dremel buried somewhere. May try to fix this on Sunday when we do my A/C. I've been driving around with a ziptied shifter assembly for a month. haha
Haha.
It's my friends shop, they do work for friends on Sunday's but are technically closed

I am having it all vacuumed out at an actual shop Sunday morning just to be safe.
P.S. It was 90 degrees here yesterday and the AC still nice and cold ;)
Has been working fine for 2 1/2 weeks
DaveM - let us know how the cam gears work for you!
Oh great, you're back. That 6 week ban sure went fast.
And I've been working on these cars for 16 years+ - cam gears don't make much of a difference in NA bolt-on cars. I've had them.
So Todd aka SE-RMonkey came over around 10:30AM this morning (with his beautiful white Pathfinder BTW) and we got it done.
It took us about an hour of trial and error to line up the trans mount t...
For NA applications the cam gears are not needed, but seeing as you are boosted that changes things. Might as well install the cam gears since you have to pull the OEM sprokets off the old cams any...
Re-installing A/C in a B14 SE-R. Pics & a couple install notes/tips
Mine too. Wait til you see the next post.
Hahah, 3 zipties. It actually was a pain in the arse to do,like 15 min. had to use long needle nose pliers to grasp the other ends
WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL....
this is by FAR the the most GHETTO thing I have ever done to any SR20. Since I have to wait until next week for the ES shifter bushing to arrive, I got a little creative ...

SE-RMonkey and I will be doing this tomorrow.
He took off from work tomorrow just to help me out. Stand up guy
Thank you. SE-RMonkey and I will be working on this Monday
Okay, so I'm not crazy then, haha. I was under the car looking at it all and said to myself, this is physically impossible !
SOOOO I have a curve ball to throw all of you! I was just under the car inspecting the mounts for a good 10 minutes. They all looked fine! I didn't see anything wrong with them so I started lookin...
