It's the voltage regulator inside the alternator going out. Replace the alternator and your problems will be solved.

Sucks that they cost so much, but it's an easy fix.

This.That's why when you rev it up,everything gets happy.The regulator is no longer regulating.Or at least intermittently working.

I'm going on record, the alternator is on it's way out.

Seen this car around town ;)

possible reasons im guessing u lost a race

1. Driver mod
2. the guy isn't telling you his exact setup
3. if #2 is wrong, revert back to number 1

The way that power comes on, it's going to be impossible to modulate mid-turn. If you're going to bastardize it, I'd rather see it supercharged.

You more than likely bent a rod, a valve, or both. Reason for only getting a half crank out of it. something is stopping it.
