1/20 cold starts, it will fail to start. I also noticed that when it fails, the tacho needle doesn't reach the launch rpm, it just sits at 0.

Probably something...

I serviced the Shigspeed setup I recently purchased...r/r'd the GC sleeves to get rid of clunking, removed some surface rust, meticulously cleaned, made some rubber gaskets for the springs, lubed, ...
