It takes a hell of a lot of revolutions to get the marks on the chain to line up again. If you had everything set as per the FSM you will have nothing to worry about.

probably the gear in the starter came loose and is stuck on the teeth of the flywheel /housing... Try turning the crankshaft by hand and see if the loosens it up.. if that doesn't work put the bolt...
It means the copper washers on the pressure hose, you don't need to touch them though, just remove the 14mm pivot bolt and move the pump out if the way, no need to disconnect any hoses.

BenFenner, I did read on those a while back and they look a bit thick to sit on top our skinny Radiator support. The mustang has so much thicker material there.
