ecu help
I have a 96 200sx ecu with a nistune type 4 board. The ecu is not controlling the iac. So the person who worked on my car said it could be the ecu is bad. So im looking for a 96 g20 ecu, and want to swap the nistune board from the 200sx ecu to the 96 g20, to see if the ecu is controlling the iac. Does anyone know how to swap the board, and rewire the harness for the 96 g20 ecu. The reason im going with the 96 g20 ecu is for the monitors to set faster.

doubt its worth sending to australia just to re-solder in a 20 pin collector. check local first. anyone who sells them over there, or even tunes with them should be able to help you.

its a simple IDE header that can be purchased from any electronics shops. Just about anyone with an hour of experience on an iron can get that header swapped over. shouldn't have to ship to oz for this.

I was thinking to ship it to a nistune vendor in the states, they should be able to get it done.

Just find a place that fixes electronics or a technical school with an electronic class and they will swap it out for i

iac on these cars are useless. did you try a different one or cleaning this one before changing the ecu? Seems like a premature assumption without eliminating other variables
