afr offset in nismotronic
Ok, I thought i'd start a new thread about this issue as it kinda came up in my boost issue thread (thats been solved, over thought it).
So I'm currently having issues syncing my afr offset between my aem uego wideband and my nismotronic. My wideband gauge at idle is reading full lean, the afr gauge in nismotronic reads 11-12ish. I've been told it's most likley a ground issue so I went ahead and re-grounded my wideband from the chassis to pin 48 on the ecu (spliced and soldered in, my diagram showed that as the eccs ground) after this I started it up to see if it worked and it's still reading the same. I did come accross a thread after I re-grounded the wideband where someone else was having a similar issue and john mention that pin 39 is the main ground for the ecu. Should I again re-ground from pin 48 to pin 39? I just dont understand why there is such a big difference between what the gauge displays and what the afr gauge in nismotronic is displaying. Afr offset in nismotronic can only be adjusted +or- 2.5.
I'm getting power for my wideband directly from the battery via a relay. I also tested the wideband sensor to see if maybe it was faulty and it checked out ok.
Anyone have any idea's or input? Thanks, Dave.
