Programmable B13 Ecu + Launch Control and mild anti lag
Hello guys,

I just wondering if you can set up a mild anti lag with the calum ecu + launch controller? I use the B13 with Launch Control xdf. But i just wondering if you can retard the timing within the timing map? around 4krpm. Has anyone tried this?

Thanks

Is this what you're looking for?

Stock ecu temp fan control+ launch control xdf - SR20 Forum

Two different options for LC one with timing retard and one without. The one with timing retard you can set the deg it is retarded, the rpm when it kicks in, and the mph when the LC turns off. (assuming you have a GTIR engine and ecu this should work)

@bigben thanks man i check on this file but it only has options to put the rpm but you cannot reprogram the fuel table and timing table... actually i'm currently use a b13 launch control.xdf so just wondering if could possibly retired a certain map on the table for timing...

The xdf included in that thread only has the definitions that pertain to the launch control code that he is using. You can edit a standard (no launch control) xdf file in tunerpro and add the definitions from the launch control only xdf. Then you would have access to all the normal tables fuel, timing, etc., and launch control. Please note that the bin that is supplied with the xdf must be used since it contains modifications to the code. If you have already done some tuning to your bin then you can just copy your fuel and timing maps into the launch control w/retard bin and resave it as your new file.

I hope this makes sense.

thanks for your response bigben.. as much as i want to modify the xdf but i'm afraid to mess up with it by combining the standard xdf with the LC gtir/ retired timing.. I would appreciate if anyone can help us out i think this could be a very useful to those who are using a chip base ecu..

In regards to the XDF file you sent me. TinyUpload.com - best file hosting solution, with no limits, totaly free The launch control parameters look like they are correct. As long as you copied over the other parameters from a correct xdf for your engine it should be good. But remember you must use the GTIR LC bin from the other thread as your base and then copy over any maps or parameters that you have modified from your current bin to the LC bin and then rename and save it. The LC bin has modifed code in it that the original bin does not. The LC parameters in your xdf will not make any sense in tunerpro if you load a bin that does not have the modified code in it. (see the first screen shot below LC bin in red boxes, stock bin in green boxes)

One thing I noticed in your xdf though is the consult register parameter is set for the wrong location it should be 1010 not 7F50.
