Better results from one system over the other?

At the end use what your tuner likes, but if you are the tuner and want to learn on it, get the one that some one near you can assist you with.

I have a VVL head swap on a RR block and want to go full race with my B13. I currently have a Greddy eManage Ultimate but want a standalone system. My ideal setup would be to convert to CAS and individual coils.

Your choice would still be the Haltech?

Lets talk prices on what everyone has paid for ECU + accessories. Would be interesting to compare.

Agree with all of this, but specifically the underlined part. My tuner has the same view on AEM. Tech support sucks and doesn't know much about cars or the system, besides what's in a book.

^^^True^^^ AEM support is spotty. When I started my build with the AEM EMS4 the forums and website were under construction so there was no help at all. The AEM forums are better now (Cross fingers), I have asked several questions and get a reply same day. Also there are more and more people taking the plunge with it so there is a lot more info out there.

Go on Zilvia.net and look for one. Those guys used a good mix of both. I bought my Sport Platinum 1000 from there for $800 but I already had a harness and sensors.

Car looks and sounds good. The CDI System from Mazworx seems kinda pricey though. Is there a cheaper CDI system that can be used for the coils?
