I went EMS4 for price and every dyno / tuner shop here has tuned them. When I bought my EMS4 they were $650 retail for the ecu alone. Don't know why they jumped to $725

Im a Haltech guy so i would say haltech. The guys at haltech are great and easy to talk to. They even logged into my computer once to help men out on an issue

Do you use the CAS and individual coils with the Haltech?

I like the fact that the AEM comes with its own CAS disc for the SR20's.

No just the dizzy as a signal and it doesn't need a coil module either.

That is where I'm getting mixed feedback; some persons say the CAS makes for a better pickup rather than the distributor and secondly, the coils provide better spark.

The setup has been working fine for me. I would go with smart coils whichever way you go

I have tuned several SR20DET on PowerFC, AEMv1/v2 and Haltech Sprint500/1000 and by far the GUI of the Haltech and the support they give you (KY or AUS office) is superior to the others.
At the end use what your tuner likes, but if you are the tuner and want to learn on it, get the one that some one near you can assist you with.
