Thread: Emutility .bin transfer to laptop (file)

To transfer a .bin from ecu (emulator) to laptop file would this method work-

Select any random .bin file from laptop to the "....." tab in emutility then select "read from emulator to file" in the drop down tab. If I understand correct this will overwrite the original random .bin but what is on the ecu will now be stored safely to the laptop. Yes?

Yup, or i think you can save as

I had given it a try and seems to have worked. "Verify" was successful. Only learned after the fact I can "save as" through TunerPro.
