On the road you can't control load consistancy based on surface conditions. While on a dyno the rollers never change and load is always the same so even little changes are noted. Can you post a pic or two of the timing maps? I hope we can help you out with this.
I discovered that my VD info was all messed up due to datascan logs so now I can't say that I don't see a power increase. I need to get new logs via ecutalk. I asked @BenFenner to delete this thread.
