I can't get the above mentioned Genius G540 to program the 27SF512 chips. It keeps giving me an error. There's another guy on the internet who I've been in contact with from another forum who supposedly got this to work w/an OBD1 ECU on a truck, but I'm unsure why I'm having issues. I've tried pretty much everything I can think of to try and get this to work. It won't even blank check the chips.
I'm planning to return it. I've already purchased a used Moates Burn2...was worth the try though! The Willem is documented and works, but it uses an old ass DB25 cable that no one has a port for anymore(supposedly the USB to DB25 doesn't work). Looks like Moates Burn2 is the only way to go for a chip programmer.
