NEMU wasn't a player in the game, at that time. You had JWT, some other companies, and CalumSult.

For that time, the RTv2 was the best you could get.

If I had to buy an ECU now, yeah, I would get the NEMU package. But I already have the Calum one, so I'm content.

Nistune, it's a pretty big name

But yeah agreed, I'm just saying now days it's not worth fighting over it .

Now did you ever purchase TunerCode? If you haven't played around with it your missing out .

Calum RT, Nistune RT and Basic Rom board tuning all use the same ROM/Bins.

Even though Calum is gone, his hardware works perfectly fine on various software bases including Nistune.

If you can afford it, buy an AEM. Nothing comes close.

Well, the CalumSult ECU came with TunerProRT V4 or 5, I think. I need to check out the docs on my Laptop to be sure. Basically, the RTv2 came as a package, including the tuning-software.

However, I'm not sure if I'm eligable for an upgrade to newer versions, or that I have to buy the software package all over again. Maybe Dave can tell me more about that? @OnTheChip ??

Big difference, TunerPro RT is technically free (with nag screen). TunerPro is just a tuning software. TunerCode is firmware for the actual ECU. TunerCode is no longer sold as a standalone product so if you didn't buy it before the only way to get it is by buying a NEMU setup.
