Running richer with heater on
EDIT: I was half asleep when I made this post... I meant it's running leaner with the heater/lights on.

Anyone ever experience this?

I have the A/C flag disabled as my car doesn't have a compressor. The only thing I can think of is that the blower motor is consuming power, causing the car to want to run leaner. Is this possible? Battery voltage is low... around 12.

This seems to be a current draw issue.. does the voltage fluctuate when you turn the heater on?

This would lead me to believe your battery offset/voltage scalar might need some tweaking.

I started playing with that a bit this morning. Just to fix the issue last night, I turned the heater on and adjusted the values in the fuel table around my idle RPM.

Could you tell me how the scalar affects the injector pulse width and to what degree? Small change = big change in AFR, or Big change = big change in AFR?

Thanks, @JKTUNING!

How old is your battery? I had an issue sort of like this. My car tended to go lean whenever I turned on the headlights. Turned out my battery was weak. We tried a fresh optima battery and it was fine.

That's the thing that has me puzzled, I'm using a yellow top optima battery. I'm not sure how hold it is, but they're supposed to be good.

Watching my voltage in Nismotronic, it drops into the 12's when I have my headlights on. Shouldn't the alternator be able to keep up with the power drain from the lights?
