emu ignition question
I have been using greddy emanagement for years now. Went from the blue to the ultimate. I have nor had no issues with the program. I luv it and no one can change my views about the product. That was stated for anyone who is gonna post the emu is a pita.
To my original point, I have everything set and in proper working order. Now I would like to step up to cop, not mainly for performance purposes, but more to the fact that it would complete the wire tuck even more without msd and thick gauge dizzy wires. The wiring for the emu is straight forward, being that the 1input signal comes in and 4 triggers can be activated. Go to the drop box do the same thing, 1 in - 4 out.
Now I am ready to wire up everything using maxima 3 wire coils, I am hearing speculations that I would need to buy a trigger wheel and change the factory 360 trigger wheel. Whats being said is that the emu wouldnt recognize the 360 wheel and would "over activate " the coils. My hypotheses is that if it was reading it before, why would it change because im putting coil packs? I believe greddy included some form of ign phasing in the program. But now that we're getting more into standalone territory, could my sources be confused thinking of aem or megasquirt. Has anyone heard of greddy using a trigger wheel for their software?
Any valuable input would be greatly appreciated.
