Thread: Is my o2 sensor busted?

Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is the right category anyway. if not please kindly move..

Just want to ask about o2 sensors... when i check the logs from ecutalk. My o2 sensors constantly display 0 at idle 900-2000rpm .. but when start to rev it around 3000rpm till 7.2krpm it starting to change up to 1.5v... Is it normal that display 0v on idle?....

your o2 sensor is obviously shot!

even at idle the voltage should move slowly back n forth from about .3v to .9 volts..... It should also never go above 1.0 volts! at about 3,000rpm and up the o2 sensor should switch quickly from below .5volts to over .5volts over and over (oscilate)
