Idle a/f ratio
Ok I have a Safc and I was wondering how lean I can go at idle do I need just enough to keep that car running is it ok to be lean at idle

You can idle as high as 22 afr. It will run hot. OK depends on you. Is it ok for you to blow up your engine?

I think he is asking a valid question, its just worded wrong.
"What A/F ratio should i aim for when tuning the idle?"
I would also like to know what people are doing.

It's pretty damn hard getting an idle AFR of 14.7 from what I've experienced.
