Thread: tps settings

Hey, can someone help me with the TPS on my b14 gtir motor. I think it reads backwards andI don't know why or how. The volts start at 14.6 at closed throttle and numbers go down as I open the throttle. Anyone know why?

You might be on the wrong wire because there is only 5V going to the TPS.

K. Sorry, I double checked it and one wire is 4.43 and the other is at 1.34 and they both go down when I open the throttle. Thanks for your help.

GTi-R engine on b13 or b14 need to pin the wire.. i will chek mines and tell you wat pins need to be change..

okay, so i switched the pink with the black wire and still nothing. then i tried the yellow and the black wire and i was able to get it to go from low to high volts but it was not going past .26. then i tried the black with and pink with black and blue with yellow and still nothing. what is the correct way to get the tps to read correctly? does someone one here know that can help me?
